Nanchang Railway Bureau High-Barrier Collision Monitoring and Alarm System
The Nanchang Railway Bureau (China Railway Nanchang Group Co., Ltd.) has been steadily deploying a bridge‑height‑restriction protective‑frame collision‑monitoring and alarm system across multiple track‑maintenance sections. The system leverages LiDAR‑based ultra‑high‑clearance pre‑warning, MEMS‑based collision sensing, and AI‑powered video‑evidence collection to achieve closed‑loop management—providing pre‑incident warnings, real‑time alerts during an event, and post‑incident traceability. To date, the Nanchang Bureau has implemented this system on numerous lines, including the Beijing–Kowloon, Quzhou–Jiujiang, and Longyan–Zhangzhou railways, successfully issuing early warnings for over‑height vehicles and preventing collisions. It also supplies critical video evidence for traffic‑accident investigations and accountability, thereby significantly enhancing operational safety in railway‑road grade‑separated crossings.

Railway Turnout Safety Monitoring Project
Railway transportation is a critical mode of transport, and maintaining safe clearances between trains and turnouts is of paramount importance. Traditional turnout systems typically rely on manual inspection and maintenance, which makes fault diagnosis and troubleshooting particularly challenging. The introduction of intelligent locks for non-centralized turnouts enhances real-time monitoring and control of turnout positions, thereby providing a higher level of safety and reducing the risk of train derailments, collisions, and other serious accidents. These smart lock devices are equipped with fault-detection capabilities that promptly report abnormal conditions, enabling operations and maintenance personnel to remotely monitor turnout status. As a result, fault detection rates and response times are improved, maintenance costs are reduced, and the reliability and availability of railway tracks are enhanced.
